Has anyone ever had radiotherapy while having to lie on the tummy and, if so, could you breathe to the side or must the face be looking straight down to the floor?
Hi laharna and I see it’s your first post so welcome to the Community.
I have had lots of radiotherapy (45 sessions) for my blood cancer and some were done with me face down and my head had to be straight, not to the side. I also had a CT guided lung biopsy and had to lay face down, head straight and my arms above my head for well over an hour and was breathing fine.
I see you have joined our Bone cancer group so why not put up your question in there as well.
All the very best.
Thanks for the welcome and the encouraging response!
