Hi everyone, I'm here in behalf of my mum who is partially sighted, so cant access the Forums herself. She has Stage 4 Lung Cancer and has recently completed a short course of radiotherapy. She is now experiencing swallowing problems and has only been able to eat liquid foods since Friday. Could this be a side effect of the treatment and will it abate?
Hi
I'm sorry to read that your mum is having problems swallowing which must be very difficult for her.
I can't answer your question but noticed you hadn't had any replies yet. I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you also post this question in the lung cancer group, which I can see you've joined, as I'm sure there'll be lots of people there who have bad radiotherapy and who will be able to share their experiences with you.
