Hi I was wondering if anyone has had full brain radiotherapy?
My mum has just finished her treatment nearly 2 weeks ago now and is just sleeping all the time and is very weak.
I was hoping there was someone on this group that’s experienced this to compare side effects etc.
I am very worried about my mum as she has got worse today and was hoping that speaking to someone who has gone through it would maybe make me feel at ease.
I am so worried and concerned I don’t know where to turn

I'm sorry to hear that you're worried about your mum after she has had full brain radiotherapy. I haven't had this treatment but noticed that your post hadn't had any response yet.
I had a look in your profile to see what sort of cancer your mum has been treated for but you haven't completed it yet. However, I can see that you joined the secondary breast cancer group so I'm presuming this is what your mum is being treated for.
I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you also post your question in that group as it will give you the opportunity of asking your question directly to others who have secondary breast cancer.

Your mum should have been allocated a cancer nurse specialist so you could give her a call to talk through your mum's symptoms. However, as you say you are really worried about her then it might be an idea to ring NHS 111 and they will decide what to do.
