Hi
I finished all my 30 sessions of radiotherapy on Friday .
The skin was very red and raw but now it's broken down.
It's being dealt with but in meantime I wondered of other peoples experiences .
I was going to buy a cotton scarf but wasn't sure if it was a good idea.
Thinking keeping it covered when I'm out but wasn't sure.
Any advice or experience
Thanks
Hi
I'm sorry to hear that your skin has broken down after you've finished your radiotherapy sessions. Although I haven't had radiotherapy I can imagine that this must be very distressing for you.
As the radiotherapy group is a very quiet group you might be more likely to get a response if you post this question in the head and neck cancer group which I see you're a member of. Clicking on the link I've created will take you directly there.
Another place to post this would be in ask about radiotherapy and radiographer Kate will aim to respond within 2 working days.
I hope you are able to get this sorted soon
