Evening everyone,
My searches may have missed something, I wondered if there was a topic/ thread for discussions on short term solutions to practical problems.
An example, having brought my dad home from hospital, his mobility was a struggle, his hands shake so much he can't use his phone and his voice has gone so quiet, we can hardly hear him, so whilst waiting for home assessments, I needed a way that my dad to let me know he needed me, day or night.
A simple wireless door bell and chime solved this problem. £4 at B&M for a button and two chimes that go into plug sockets. They are really loud and having one upstairs and one down has allowed me to hear even over work calls and the hoover. I'm thinking of keeping it for the duration he has left.
Thought it may be useful for someone else.
