Hi. I am having ongoing maintenance treatment for non hodgkins lymphoma.
If you are in a similar situation and trying to get travel insurance when you get the question ' are you having any on going treatment’? The answer is no as maintenance therapy is not considered treatment.
this has been confirmed to me by a medical screener in an insurance company.
I used insure for travel.
£320 for 2 weeks to Sri Lanka and Maldives
Hi I am just dropping in past from our Non-Hodgkin lymphoma group. Well done in getting insurance fixed up.
It looks like there are differences between companies as over the past year I have talked with others who are on maintenance therapies and they were told it was treatment so most likely one size may not fit all insurance providers but your experience is encouraging.
Have a great time.
