hi I m very new to all this. I m 64 and had a recall mammogram for the very first time 3 weeks ago. I had to wait a nerve wracking 2 weeks til my appointment and once there I had more mammograms, an ultrasound and a core biopsy as they had found Calcifications . They said it was 50/50 that it would be cancer . My husband and I are going away this week and I have the results appointment booked for the day after I come back . I ll try to switch off if I can but it’s not easy imagining walking into the appointment not knowing how it’s going to turn out. Just a couple of questions. Do they tell you the results straight away and is the breast care nurse present even if it’s good news?
