Hi all, I have only recently found out that my mum has cancer, which started in the lungs and has now spread around her body. I am feeling quite alot of anger as she has been in and out of hospital from November, has had pneumonia, blood clots etc and had various xrays and scans and was told it was a possibility it could be cancer but then told it wasn't, now to be told yes actually it is and now it's progressed too far and there is nothing they can do apart from keep her comfortable. She has deteriorated quite quickly and can no longer get around without oxygen and her bedroom is now downstairs. It's so upsetting to see and I am trying to be strong for her. How do family members cope with the guilt of having to work and be a parent and a wife and do as much as you can when you are available?
