Hello
Just been told dad has prostate cancer.
Its spread to ribs lungs pelvis spine. He is in hospital having radiation therapy over 5 days. Also get hormone treatments. Radiation to shrink compression in spine so hopefully can get back on his feet and walk around type of thing. Possible it could paralysis him.
I'm all over place,
What possible outcomes? Will he need longterm care?
What happens after treatment ? Will they send him home by self ( lives alone i live another part of country) what support would he need ?
Anyone who's been through this please give me some advised and pointers to help him.
