Hi all. This is my first post. My Dad was diagnosed with a 3 cm tumour at the gastric oesophageal junction. He has had 4 cycles of chemo and will have a scan tomorrow to determine the next course,an op or more chemo.

My issue is that my mum has bipolar, dad is her primary carer. I am now registered as both their carers. I work full time and have been given time off to look after Dad,but I will have to go back eventually. Does anyone have any ideas of support for them at home ie. meal prep, getting mum out of bed as she struggles to get herself going and frequently stays in bed or goes back to bed.

The local borough council can only offer help in an emergency. My parents can afford to pay. Any ideas? Many thanks.
