Hi everyone,
Thank you for taking the time to read this. My Grandad has recently been diagnosed with Lung Cancer which has spread. He's my world and whilst i am processing it I'm finding it really hard. I cant sleep, I'm not eating well, I'm drifting off into my own world and overthinking everything. I have tried talking to family about it but they tell me not to worry because its out of my control. I've also reached out to a few friends and they have disappeared of the face of the earth. I feel so alone in all of this and that may seem really selfish because I'm not the one going through the tests and the treatment. I've read several different articles and end up feeling worse every time and in tears. My emotions are all over the place and my body is stressed as I've got my usual stressed symptoms. I don't really know what to do. I also don't really know what i am hoping to get from this but hopefully its a start. Thank you for reading x
