Hi I'm new here, I was diagnosed with lung cancer last year, found by accident while they were putting a stent in my av fistula for dialysis, 5.5 tumour. Anyhow I had surgery end of Nov and I've just completed a radiotherapy course, I was lucky they caught it all. My breathing is still very bad and my left breast was numb for a few weeks after the surger but now gets cold and very painful, does anyone know how long it takes for things to improve, sorry for the long message

Cancer treatment can indeed bring questions but talking with others who are walking the same type of cancer treatment journey will help you navigate this challenging time.
The Community is organised into support groups so can I recommend you join our supportive Lung Cancer group as this will be a good place to connect with patients and families navigating the same type of cancer journey.

You can then introduce yourself by putting up a ‘New Thread’ or hit the box with the X on the top right (phones), you could just copy and paste the text from this your first post. You can also join in with existing ‘Discussions’ by clicking on 'reply'.
It’s always good to talk and the Macmillan Support Services provides lots of information, support, financial guidance or just a listening ear.
