    • My mum was diagnosed with cancer a month ago.  We thought she has fallen over initially as she a cracked hip bone and fractured ribs.  She went to the doctors and was rushed to hospital. We were told she only had days left by her go then she was in the hospital a week and still here. She had drugs to help her but it took them three weeks to tell us she had cancer in the ovaries.  We then found out a week later that the cancer started in her uterus and went in the blood around her body infecting other organs.  She had a week at home got worse and has been in hospital nearly 2 weeks now. She vomits all the time and eats very little and has lost a lot of weight.  The doctors said she could come home but the cocked up because they hadn’t spoken to the hospice team or done any paperwork. She has now been moved to a room to have visitors meaning she has little time left. I am angry and upset that this time has been wasted when she could have been at home.  I am also very worried about my dad at how he will cope as they have been together all their lives.  Why does this shit happen she is the kindest person I know and doesn’t deserve this.
