Not sure why my post is bullet points either. Sorry if it offends x

  • Hi  and welcome to the Online Community.

So I can help you find the best place to get support can you just confirm what type of cancer you have as even although you have mentioned cancer being removed from your breast this could also be other types of cancer.

Looking forward to your reply ((hugs))

Hi Have had trouble getting back, but here I am. I have had breast cancer and had a lumpectomy last Friday. It was called infiltrating ductal carcinoma on diagnosis. I'm now waiting for results following lumpectomy.

  • Hi  and well done getting back to me sorry to hear you are well I to treatment.

As you know the Online Community has many support groups so can I recommend you join our supportive Breast cancer group as this will be a good place to connect with patients navigating the same type of cancer journey.

To join a group just click on the link above then choose 'click to join' or 'join' (depending on the device you're using) on the page that opens.

You can then introduce yourself by putting up a ‘New Thread’ or hit the box with the X on the top right (phones). You can also join in with existing ‘Discussions’ by clicking on 'reply'.

It’s always good to talk and the Macmillan Support Services provides lots of information, support, financial guidance or just a listening ear.

Most services are open 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week and it's free to call on 0808 808 00 00 have a look by Clicking here to see what is available and we also have our Ask an Expert section, but do allow two working days for replies from our expert team.

    All the very best

Thank you for your reply. I’ll try this. Not sure what you were trying to say in the first paragraph.
    best wishes

  • Sorry for the typos....... “sorry to hear you are well on with your treatment”..... but you will find connecting in with the breast cancer group helpful as you can talk with folks who understand the journey you are on.
