Colon cancer

I was diagnosed just before Christmas and currently having chemo.  Friends  tell me of relatives who have been through this and survived many years. I have not been given much idea of the state of the cancer only receiving copies of letters to my gp in doctor speak. Is it possible to understand any of this?

    A cancer diagnosis brings many questions, confusion and lots of stress but talking with other people who are walking the same type of journey will help you navigate this rollercoaster.

    The Community is organised into dedicated support groups and I see you have posted this in our supportive Bowel (colon and rectum) cancer group, this is a good place to connect with others navigating the same type of cancer journey.
