Hi,

My 78 year old Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer ( lobular, triple negative) last Friday (Feb 26th) which has knocked all the family sideways. We are in a state of shock and  frightened currently as to what the future holds. My Mum and Dad  moved to live near to me and my husband 3 months ago from 200 miles away, so they have had no time to settle and obviously with Covid restrictions have not been able to orientate themselves at all. I am so worried for them and it is so hard to see them struggling.I have taken Mum to all her appointments so far to help as much as I can. We are waiting for a CT scan date so the extent of the cancer can be assessed and a treatment/management plan sorted. I am trying to be strong for my parents and my brother ( who lives out of the area ) but my mind keeps wandering to the worst. If any of you have any thoughts on how best to help them through this very tough time it would be appreciated. I am trying to keep a level head, but it is not easy as I am sure you will know.
