Hi all.
5 minutes into my chemo today I had a bad reaction resulting in instantly being surrounded half a dozen chemo nurses treatment stopped and an adrenaline jab to the leg. Once again I can not say enough how wonderful these people are.
Anyway I have been reschedule for chemo next Tuesday afternoon. My nurse as reassured me that it is very very unlikely to happen again and will be taking 3 times the amount of pre-meds.Im more than happy to go head however got to admit I may be a little bit scared So just wondering if this as happened to anyone else on here and how they got on with any further treatment.
Thanks for reading
Ian
Hi. P9 Bees, It is good to see you post again, I’ve been wondering how you are. Yes definitely a good omen I would say. Perhaps that’s your mum just letting you know she is watching over you! Good luck!
Love Annette x
Hi Lee, Thank you just about to set off now
Not sure yet sure on Tracey hopefully if I’m up to it I’ll find out over the weekend. The bees in the box look very strong so if she as not she should have made a daughter so at least her genetics will live on.
Photo of the hive is is hopefully in.
Hi Eddie, it’s great to hear from you sorry I’ve not posted on here for awhile don’t know why not especially with all the lovely people on here other things have just got in the way I guess.
My treatment is going well thank you. I have had other successful chemo today/yesterday and all my test results have came down quite a lot my last PSA was down to 4.9 and my pain level as dropped not had to top up the morphine for over a week now. So very pleased with how things are going.
Once again thank you for your message I really must post here more.
Ian
Hi Ian, that's great news about your treatment , I can remember how tough it was initially for you, so I'm really pleased they've found a regime that you can manage, but importantly it's working so well, and managing without morphine too is wonderful and hopefully for some time yet, no need to apologise my friend, it's great you have life to live, but it would be nice to hear from you from time to time, as I and your friends on here do worry when one of the guys goes quiet, I hope your family are well too an look forward to hearing from you soon, and catching up fully, PS, if you could post on the chit chat thread, that would cheer up all your friends on the forum, I will have everything crossed for continued success with your treatment my friend
Eddie
