Hi everyone,
Here's the new thread for October.
Oh gosh Stella, that all sounds a lot! 3 out of 4 thought it was clear! Does that just go to show that it comes down to luck as to who is looking at scans! Or is it that small that they couldn’t see it, but that is something to be thankful for. Hopefully you get some answers soon x
Thank you Chelle and KrisPy. I am glad the team has been very thorough and the scans get checked by so many experts. I don’t think it is very small, about 2cm? But it is ‘fuzzy’ and not obvious to interpretation.
Anyone watching blue lights on BBC? X
Hi Stella, it does sound like you are in very competent hands who leave no stone unturned. Hopefully it will just be a simple procedure. Enjoy your holiday!
Patrick xx
Morning Stella
I have not watched Blue Lights- are you enjoying it!
I have been catching up on Marble Hall, Ludwig and Small Prophets - thoroughly enjoyed them all.
Stay positive, be strong
KrisPy
Good luck with your scan results Patrick. I am sorry about your bone lesion Stella, but if it is only one SABR can get rid of it. When I first had an X-ray of pelvis, it showed up two lesions. I was told that they were just benign boney lesions and of no consequence. The doctor was very happy to ignore them. I insisted on physio as I was in pain. Eventually he sent me and the physio sent me for MRI. That is when they found all the bone mets. It took ten months from when I went to GP. If I hadn't insisted he would not have taken any action. I am going for the next injection on Monday so am praying that I do not get that pain again. How are you going Angie, are you enjoying being pampered by your daughter? Glad your shoulder pain is gone Krispy. I don't know how you tell the sex of the canary Chelle I was just told when I bought them. Rip has an orange cap on his head and Beth does not. They are both happy now as they have a nest each to sleep in. Thank you for the advice Tvman I will keep an eye on them. Hope you are doing okay Stacy, have you started painting yet?
Lee x
Lee I remember you saying your injection was changed to a different form? Do you mind me asking was this denosumab? I had a message from my GP last night saying they are changing my denosumab to Zadenvi. I have never heard of it, and messaged them back asking if I can stay on denosumab. X
Fingers crossed for a good result Patrick.
KrisPy I. Watched the previous series of Marble Hall and quite enjoyed them. Looking forward to watching the Marble hall series. I really like Blue Lights. it is not cosy crime but more gritty police drama set in Belfast.
Lee How is your stomach pain? Are they going to give you the original one?
Stacy How is the autumn colour near your home? Our trees are changing colours now as it suddenly turned colder.
I went to the gym and then have my port flushed at the hospital. Nice to catch nut with everyone at the oncology unit. X
Thank you all, all stable. They did find a few minor things but that's just age and a long smoking history.
Where are you going on holiday Stella?
