Hi everyone,
Here's the new thread for October.
Poor Rip. Hope his head isn’t too sore, bless him. Out of interest, how do you tell which is male and which one female?
Stella I hope you get your money back for the missing flowers. X
how is it going? Have you spoken to anyone in your medical team about your sore mouth ? X
Hi Lee,
What's going to be hilarious is when the new nest is in there, and Beth decides to keep chasing Rip out of whichever nest he choses to sleep in at night! I bet those two are fun to watch.
Hopefully they replace your flowers Stella, or give you a refund. Sometimes that same thing happens with Amazon packages getting left at the wrong houses in the neighborhood, it's super frustrating.

Hi Lee, my in-laws were farmers and like a lot of the farming community in our area, they used to get day old sexed turkeys to fatten up for Christmas.
As they grew, sometimes one may get pecked by another and blood drawn. Once there was blood drawn, the others used to pick on it and if the injured bird wasn't isolated, the rest would peck it to death.
So keep a close eye on Rip, Lee, because birds can be vicious to one another.
What sex is the new one and have you given it a name yet?
Tvman x (feeling a little better today).
Hi
I have now got two bunches of flowers. The delivery driver yesterday was a trainee. He posed the box in front of a random door and took a photo , then took the parcel back to the depot without scanning in. The flower shop sent me another box. Today my regular delivery guy bought two flower boxes. Luckily a friend is visiting tomorrow so she can take one home. I found one of my vase goes well with the colour scheme.

Hi
I have got the reports on my CT and MRI scans.
Basically Ct and MRI scans were reported by two specialists and both were clear. The colorectal MDT on the Monday also thought they are fine. However, there is another lower GI international MDT on Wednesday, a fourth radiologist spotted the bone lesion. He also thinks it was already there in June CT scan.
I think it looks very likely not a muscular skeletal issue but a met. At least they were very thorough at Cleveland. Hopefully they can treat it with SBRT.
Anyhow, going to see the consultant on Friday and found out what the PET scan says and the plan forward. I just fed up with bloody cancer. X
Gosh that must have been a lot to take in. You deserve a big hug!
Hopefully by the end of the week you might have a plan and be able to focus on that. ….
By the way that shoulder pain has gone - I think you were right about the gas build up…everything on that front is going well now and I am upping the steps !
Stay positive, be strong
KrisPy
Glad to hear your shoulder pain is gone. Take it easy, don’t over do the steps. Strangely I am actually feeling the best since November 2024. Still determined to enjoy my holiday next week. X
