Hi
I think normally Ellie request this thread to start on the 1st day of the new month. I am not sure how to request it, so just started one myself, hope it is OK.
Myself and mr Simo went here today in Salisbury
where we were lucky to meet up with our friend Eddie eddiel
We had a little stroll around the cathedral then wandered over to the Christmas market. It was lovely catching up with Eddie and I am so grateful that he will be able to attend Ellie’s funeral as I am on a cruise so cannot attend myself.
Hi Lee, I searched on Google images and found the exact box that I had (afraid I don't know where it is)
Here is my jigsaw that I've had for 55 years

The results of the Google search show an image of the box it came in but I can't manage to get it copied and pasted here. I'll work on it

Thanks Patrick, I found out a lot more about the jigsaw after I image googled the photo I took of the real jigsaw that I've kept on a shelf in a wardrobe in our bedroom since we moved here in 1986.
The search results revealed a lot about the jigsaw and one photo showed one of the sides of the box on which was written the 3 jigsaws in the "set". I thought there were only two so the one I didn't know of may have been added after my own and the other one of which I am aware.
The photo which I put on the site is of the front of the box in which the jigsaw came. Unfortunately I don't believe I have my box still but there's always a remote possibility that it's in our loft.
Thanks again Patrick for the suggestion, I'll search the site now as I'm awake due to back pain.

Sorry but I am going to put my Ellie head on here.
Can we please keep the jigsaw comments to one thread. I seem to be seeing the same conversation happening in other threads. We have the hobby-and-craft-corner which is perfect for your jigsaw chats, but also Tvman had added a thread especially for his jigsaws in the /hard-to-believe thread.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi Chelle, my hard to believe thread isn't about jigsaws, it's about religious bigotry in Northern Ireland. If you read it again the religious bigotry stems from a jigsaw I wasn't allowed to buy 55 years ago.
Hope you don't think I'm publicly chastising you, but I'm not. I can't reply to you privately even though I have requested you as a friend and you didn't reply. Maybe you didn't see it but you should have had a notification. Maybe you could mention that to admin, meanwhile I'll try to send you a friend request again. Fingers crossed this time.
Hi Chelle, good to know that Eddie is still with us, his post that he sent gave me the impression that he was leaving us. I know he had been very ill and was in and out of the hospice
