Hi
I think normally Ellie request this thread to start on the 1st day of the new month. I am not sure how to request it, so just started one myself, hope it is OK.
I understand that but the same conversation about the same jigsaw is in both threads, that’s why I thought the craft thread would be better suited. Thank you for your understanding.
Stella, how are you recovering after your chemo, you are very quiet. When is your op? Stacy, when is your op? I tried inserting the names with @ but it didn't work, got photos and all sorts of things I didn't want
Patrick xx
Hi Patrick,
They were able to get the first phase of my surgeries for the colostomy and urostomy scheduled for the 15th, which isn't much time for post op recovery, but if all goes well I'll be home for Christmas. Depending on how well that recovery goes, the amputation could be in late January or early February. I've just been quiet and lost in my thoughts ever since we got the first surgery date. Thanks for checking in on me!
~Stacy
Good evening everyone
chellesimo I am glad to hear you have met up with Eddie and hope he is managing OK. Hope you have a wonderful time in Belgium. Is it a river cruise?
Thank you for asking me Patrick. I am just quite fatigued with the chemo. Then I have to go to London today to see the plastic surgeon 5 hour round trip for a 10min chat! Scheduled in for an examinion under GA and that will determine the extent of my operation and whether the bladder has to go or not. My mum is staying with me so had lots of good food
How is everyone doing?
Lots of hugs xx
Hi Stella, it is a cruise from Southampton over to Zeebrugge and then one stop in France for another Christmas market.
it sounds like you are having a rough time at the moment. I am glad your mum is there with you I hope the examination goes well for you, is that another 5 hour round trip ? X
Good evening Stella, hope your consultation turned out the way you are comfortable with. Shame you are so fatigued at present. I am having my bloods done tomorrow again and hope they are behaving this time . Great that Eddie and Chelle managed to meet up and enjoyed the afternoon. We are all batten down the hatches for tomorrow’s and Wednesday’s bad weather once again. I can’t remember another year with such a lot of stormy weather. Hope everyone is doing ok and stay safe during the next couple of days. Big furry hug from Lilly to Winston and an unfurry one to everybody else from

Hi Chelle
The EUA is at 6:30am! So Craig and I are going to stay in London on the Sunday night and have some dinner and look round the Christmas lights.
I feel a bit nervous really with the big operation coming in January. Just hope it would be a success as this probably is my last chance.
The cruise sounds fabulous! My mum and I are planning to have a cruise Norway in May if everything works out xx
I can imagine how nervous you are. That sounds like a good idea to stay over the night before, seeing the Christmas lights will help you take your mind off of it.
Oh you will love a cruise to Norway! If you need any help with best ports to visit, please message me. We have done a few to Norway, it is so beautiful there, just breathtaking x
Hi Stella, such a long journey for a 10 minute consultation, does it have to be that? Nowhere else closer or any other consultant or even a face time consultation?
Hope you get a little bit of good news in amongst all the worrying stuff. Good you have your mum staying with you for support and good food. Mum's food is always best. Or dad's. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that you'll be able to keep your bladder. When will you get the plastic surgeon's decision?
Tvman x
