Hi
I think normally Ellie request this thread to start on the 1st day of the new month. I am not sure how to request it, so just started one myself, hope it is OK.
That looks amazing Patrick, can’t wait to see the tree when it is done. Hope you are both keeping well. Bloods were to low for treatment this week so have to get them taken again next Tuesday. The thread is very quiet at present. I do hope that it will pick up again over the next couple of weeks. Hug to you all from

Winston really is such a lovable character STELLA . It will be lovely to have your mum coming to stay with you. Christmas shopping is so much more fun when you have good company. Lilly and I are watching the skiing at present and will certainly watch Beyond Paradise at 20.00. Have a cosy evening with your furry pal. Love to you both from
Angie and Lilly xx
Nice Stacy, all seems to blend in very harmoniously

Thank you for the compliments, I'll be sure to pass them along to my parents! Granted mom and I do the majority of the decorating, but it's their house, I just still live at home with my parents even though I'm 21.
Ever since my cancer battle started while I was in high school everything got put on hold, and after I graduated I was working hard on picking up the pieces and finding a new career path, up until they found the new tumor. Now that I've agreed to the surgeries, I'll most likely always live with my parents for the foreseeable future. I'll always look forward to holiday decorating though, it's so much fun for all of us.
Those of you who mentioned her, that would be our little doggie Macy, and she's quite behaved around our tree every year. It usually takes her about a day or less to get used to the tree being up in the living room, and then she doesn't check it out as much.

Hi Angie
I am actually considering Winston as a therapy pet. He loves any new visitors to my house as long as they are human! He is really relaxed around people and let them pet him anyway they like. He was supposed to be a show cat so got used to be handled at a young age.
The only thing is he is a bit of a home boy. He can walk on leash but not confident in a new environment.
I think once I got over my operation and if I am not going to be on chemo, I may try to train him up. I think it would be lovely for him and people that he visits.
That is my plan for next year sorted xx
Wow Stella, that is a splendid project. He will be adored by whoever is lucky to meet him. My Lilly hates anybody except myself. When she was about 10 or 11 months old she disappeared for nearly 24 Hours. Despite searching for hours there was no sign of her. When she came back she was shacking and in a terrible state. She would not leave the house for over a week. From that time she turned from a very friendly little cat to a one person one. To this day I have no idea what had happened to her, but whatever it was, it was not pleasant. That was nearly 12 years ago and still she does very rarely let anybody else near her. Somehow don’t think she would be a shining star in the world of therapy animals . Enjoy your mum’s company and have a lovely weekend. Love and a warm hug from Lilly to Winston

Hi Angie and Lilly, apologies for not replying sooner, I've been trying to get my garden shrubs and trees etc pruned a little as well as trimming hedging (I have about 80 to 100 metres of hedging around my garden and around 15 shrubs) but between back pain and low energy because of my blood cancer, it's taking a while as I need frequent rests. I usually stagger into the house drenched in sweat and in dire need of a cup of tea and a doze!
I haven't had any luck with finding the jigsaw maybe because the one that I did was about 55 years ago and perhaps discontinued. I'll get it out from the wardrobe and put a photo of it on the site.
Let me know Angie when you're coming to Belfast in the spring and maybe we could meet for a coffee or something. I'd like that.
Take care Angie and Lilly

Good morning. Good idea Tvman if you put a picture of the jigsaw on here so we can all have a search for you. My dogs are my therapy dogs they bring so much comfort and purpose to get going and get walking. I had to make the decision to give up the charity job as it really was hurting my back with the picking up and bending and stretching. So sad as I did enjoy it. I want to ask the oncologist what exercise I can do with the way my back is. We are going to Northampton today for mother in laws birthday. Have a good day everyone x
