Thank you everyone for your kind words. You are all quite right about keep things in perspective. The oncologist said he thought is still considered stable right now. Fingers crossed the MRI can confirm this. I suppose a tiny part of me was hoping the tumour will continue to shrink and I could possibly have an operation. But that seems impossible now so that part of hope has gone. Need to find something else to keep the hope going. 

I am going to have lunch with a friend to catch up on things. Then going to Columbia road flower market on Sunday and hopefully get some nice flowers. Dinner with another couple Sunday night at a Brazilian steakhouse

Hope Mrs TVman continues with a smooth and speedy recovery.

Aw Stella, so very sorry to hear that about the increase in growth, you're by no means having a moan. It's clearly a huge shock to you and we're here to put an arm around you to try to raise your mood a little. It's a good sign that your oncologist considers you stable Mabel for sure.

Get as many flowers as you can carry

I'm new to this thread, but I just wanted to say I'm sorry for the new growth Stella, and hopefully the next MRI will confirm it's still stable even though there was slight growth. I truly hope you have a lovely weekend going out with your friends and picking out some new flowers is always a super fun activity!

Welcome to the chit-chat thread! I am actually feeling much more settled now. I just don’t wasn’t to waste my time/ life on feeling bad about things I can’t control. We can’t control what happens to us but we can decide how we react to it. 

I have read your profile. You have gone through so much at such young age. My heart goes out to you and really admire your courage. I hope you have some fun activities lined up this weekend too.

Thank you Mr TVman, Lucy, and Angie for your support. I am feeling Ok again. It is surprising how feeling ,entally low can make me feel physically unwell too. But I am coming back up again.
