Hi everyone,
Just setting up a new chat thread for October. If you would like to catch up on September's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for: Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Mrs Tvman is home now, home about 6pm. She was able to take a morphine tablet about 20 minutes before we left. Unfortunately she felt a lot of bumps even though I was going relatively slowly but as the time went on the pain eased somewhat.
She's tucked up in bed at the moment talking to our daughter.
Glad to hear Mrs Tvman ‘s operation went well and she is home now and resting. All the best for her recovery. X
Hello
I had a review appointment tonight re my recent CT scan. The oncologist said there is a few mm growth so will need a MRI scan to check it out more. To continue with current chemo for the time being.
Feeling a bit shaken and low. I know it is inevitable the chemo will stop work but was coping well with it and would just like to be stable for a while.
Just really didn’t like how I am feeling right now . It is like how it was when I first got the incurable diagnosis. I got used that and hopefully will come through this soon too.
Sorry about the moan.
Stella x
Aw Stella - sending you a HUGE hug
You are such an amazing, positive lady
Hang in there , it’s a few mms not cms and I’m sure your oncologist will have a new plan for you if he thinks it’s necessary in due course . It sounds like he is very diligent and keeping you under close scrutiny
It’s ok to be not ok - be kind to yourself and hopefully you have a nice weekend planned
The grey sky will pass

Sorry to hear that Stella but, as Lucy said, try and keep it in perspective. Maybe they'll adjust the treatment plan but wait and see. Treat yourself to something nice and have a good weekend.
