  • Thanks Mich ! I am a bit calmer now. I remembered my psychologist said to me before ‘ stop abusing yourself, you would not say that to your best friends’

I just get frustrated with myself sometimes. How are you doing? Any plans for the weekend? X

  • Hi   having a cancer diagnosis is hard, but as a young person who is just beginning to discover who they are as an adult to be given this diagnosis is very hard. I am sure your health professionals would have told you about the teenage cancer trust, and you were possibly treated in one of their hospitals. If you haven’t come across them already you should take a look, it is for all young adults affected by cancer up to the age of 24. As well as their centres they have dedicated apps and events for young people with cancer.

  • Hi everyone,  well it is a bit calmer outside and yippee an hour longer in bed.  Sorry about the freezer Stella, I would be upset too as I hate waste, especially food , but it was a mistake.  I left the fridge door open overnight on Friday something I have never done.  Stacy yep you are right I cant let Jon (my husband) off the hook that easily, nagging commences.  Hope your treatment went well on Friday Mich.  When are you back home Patrick?  Hope Ellie is well. Big hugs to all.

  • Hi

Craig And I went to London and visited Columbia road flower market. It was very busy and very nice. I have bought 3 giant hydrangea and some supporting flowers. Could do with some greeneries but run out of hands! Now going to a Brazilian restaurant with friends for dinner.

Mich sorry you are not feeling well. I am the same , pretty uncomfortable for the first week and grumpy. Hopefully you will Pick up in the 2 nd week.

    xx

  • Hi everyone

All this talk of freezer disasters has reminded me of a very dear friend of mine....A few years ago, her freezer broke down, and the insurance company were very reluctant to pay out the amount she claimed.

They found it very hard to believe that her freezer was full of things like whole salmon, pheasants, partridge, quail.....the list of 'posh' food was endless!

She loved holding dinner parties and entertaining, and the meals always contained 'exotic' ingredients. Think she kept Waitrose in profits!

    Thanks for the memory Stella.

    xxxx Kate

  • Love your new flowers Stella, they're beautiful! Slight smile

  • Hi Lee, I'm heading back on Wednesday which I am not looking forward to. I've been living in a kind of 'denial bubble' for the past four weeks and now I'm flying back to five appointments within the first ten days. Still, I'll get used to it again.

  • I can understand how you are feeling Patrick. I found it was so hard to go to the airport in the last day. Once I am in the plane Airplane️ then it was easier.
Dod you have a fabulous time? Many good memories to draw on in the future. X

  • Oh Stella, I would guess that most of us have had a bad experience with a fridge and/or a freezer at some point in their lives. It's a real downer but a lesson well learnt and I think you won't do that again!
