Good morning everyone,
Just setting up a new chat thread for August. If you would like to catch up on July's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for: Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Lucky hubby! Do you get a ride with him in the new bike?
Not long until the Portuguese holiday! Please post plenty of photos.
I was in Iceland in February some years ago. All the waterfalls are frozen solid. It is quite a sight to see.
The annual insurance sounds pretty good. You need to keep having holidays to get your money’s worth.
Good morning
Have being laying low for the past few days. Post holiday blues and stomach cramps have been getting me down.
Feeling a bit brighter today. I am going to try to make pineapple kimchi today so looking forward to that.
Sunny and warm here today, Korean beef BBQ plus salads for dinner yummy. What is everyone having for lunch/ dinner today? The last of the summer day in Uk?
Hope everyone has a relaxing and warm day x
Morning everyone. Lovely here too, sunny but not too hot ….yet. Hubby has mowed the lawn and tidied the garden. I’ve done the ironing, now we are going to go out for lunch. Hope it’s not too busy being a bank holiday. Have a lovely day everyone x
Gluten Morgen Patrick. Viele liebe Gruesse an Dich und Mrs Patrick. Thank you so much for asking, it was much appreciated. Doing ok, just had a few much needed days to myself. ...there is a cure for post-holiday blues, it's called pre-holiday excitement so book your next adventure. How do you manage stomach cramps? I get them too and take buscopan, doesn't help much though
Patrick xx
A strange day today
Sadly I had to have my 91 year old Mum sectioned on Friday due to her increasingly aggressive behaviour caused by vascular dementia. Dad and I visited today for the first time . She’s being extremely well cared for in a specialist dementia unit ,couldn’t ask for better care
It’s been a very hard couple of months, especially for my Dad but we are all feeling a sense of relief now . Dad is also 91 but very fit and healthy and has great quality of life so he can now get back to some of his hobbies ,daily walk etc
Onward and upward
Have a relaxing evening everyone, really does feel like the last day of summer doesn’t it
Lucy xx
