  • Wish it was my garden too. It was made by a retired farmer. He just decided to make a water garden in one of his field and had been working on it for almost 20 years. He started when he was 70!

  • Thank you everyone for the good wishes and advice. Will be on it at the beginning of the week. Meanwhile, have a great weekend!

  • Hi Stella, we stayed for 6 weeks last time travelling round the country. I don't feel up to doing that anymore so looking for a nice condo near the sea where I can do what I want when I want for 4 weeks

  • Hi Stella,

That would be a nice garden to have, I love weeping willows, they're so graceful.

I have a few willow trees but they're not weeping willows. They're ordinary willows, well I suppose I wouldn't call them ordinary as they're very tall and graceful when there's a breeze. When I say I have a few willows, I planted 1500 of them over 5 years before my back packed in and I needed a wheelchair! It wasn't because of planting willows that caused the back problem, it was a condition that was developing slowly. The willow trees are nice though SmileyThumbsup

    Love life and family.
  • Wow, that sounds wonderful. And eat lots of lovely Thai food too.

  • TVman 1500 willow trees, do you live on a farm or a massive estate?  I can imagine you and Mrs Tvman living in a big mansion surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers.  How lucky to have so much land.

  • Hi Patrick, how lovely to be going to Thailand for a whole month. What is the weather like in October,  we went in July and it was very humid.  Have a lovely time and it is something to look forward to.  Nice Thai food too yummy.
