Hi Eddie
its good to be back and see all those familiar names chatting away. The kids are all well and I am looking forward to my son coming back from his travels at the end of the year. I've missed him but also living vicariously through all his photos and news as he has worked and driven his way through the vastness of Australia. He is making his way back to Perth for the last few months to earn enough to settle back in the UK.
I'm in a much better place as apparently I am 'stable' although that actually means my results go up and down along with my symptoms. Long may they continue to go up after the down!
You will have a fantastic time in Belfast as there is plenty to see and do and usually good craic to be had! You are never too far from anywhere in NI so Belfast is a good place to begin your journeys but definitely try to spend some time up on the Antrim coastline as it has spectacular landscapes. A lesser known place to visit is Downhill beach where the train goes through the side of the mountain. Close to their is a steep drive up to Gortmore viewpoint where you can see for miles across the flats. And a holiday isn't complete without fish and chips at Ballycastle harbour or a coffee in the restaurant near the play area with views across to the beach. Everyone goes to Portrush but my favourite place in all the world is Portstewart.
Pack me in your suitcase! I've decided I am coming!
xx Thea
Hi Leelaloo How are you feeling? Your trekking through Africa sounds the most wonderful adventure. A few years ago I was contemplating going to Rwanda and trying to view gorillas. They are such beautiful creatures. I am packing all sorts of antibiotics / medications for this trip and hope I don’t have to take them.
tvman 5000 willow trees! Well done you. presume you drove a tractor for this.

Hi Lee, I live in a castle and we have 3,000 acres.
I wish! I live in a 3 bedroom bungalow with a medium to large garden. That's it. I live on farmland that my wife's father used to farm but now it's leased. It's my brother in law's now, only sheep around.
There's a couple of fields opposite me in damp ground so I got permission to use it so I started with 90 thin branches from a friend's up the road. One branch in and in 5 years you have a 30 to 40 ft tree. They can be spaced just 5 metres apart. I now harvest the trees for a high output wood boiler stove that also heats my radiators, dry the wood of course first.
I planted them in groups of 100 and kept count. When I cut one down I replace it with another thin whippy branch.
Sorry, no castle

Stella2020 , only 1500, not 5000. I wish!
Hi Anthea, firstly my friend, I was sorry to hear your SABR, radiotherapy to your spine was also cancelled, I'm not sure now, for me it would have been the right choice, as like you I'm stabl-ish, also being told you can't swim seems tough, does that include the hospital pool?,
Great that the family is well, and your lad is touring Oz, I hope everything has gone well for him, and he'll have so many stories and pictures to share when he's home, and plenty of hugs
Your suggestions on Belfast are welcome, and appreciated, we've had a change of plan, we are stopping in Ayr, and having 1 maybe 2 nights in NI, looking forward to it though, and the Antrim coast will be top of the list.
I'm sure we could squeeze you in somewhere.
love Eddie and Sheila xx
Good morning
Transport Winston to my parents this morning. He was not too impressed with what is going on.
He thought he is going away with us
Instead he is in his cage and travelling on the train. Poor Winston.
How are all our four legged friends doing? Hope they having a better day than Winston

Lilly is sending her love to Winston. Have a wonderful time Stella and Craig.
