Lovely Morning chit-chat July 2025

Good morning Annette, overcast and rain not far away and blissfully cooler today. Yes I did watch the tennis. Enjoyed the match and as both you and  Stella said, it’s great to see good sportsmanship. My oldest girl was at Wimbledon yesterday, entertaining guests from work. She said the atmosphere was electric. Apparently  some of her guests commented on Prince George wearing a tie in that hot weather. Didn’t Kate looked awful thin? Lovely but thin. Not a particularly ardent royal watcher myself but her thinness stood out. Have a good start to the week. Hugs to you and Vince from

Hi Angie,  I thought that about Kate as well, she really did look too thin.  I know she had cancer but I think she could do with putting a bit more weight on, think I will send her some of mine .  Love to you and Lilly xx

Morning Lee 2, I happily give her a few pounds as well  or to anybody else, who would like to have the ‘build for comfort not for speed’ look. It’s so much better today with the cooler weather. Hopefully I will get a few things sorted I ignored while it was so hot.  Wishing you and everyone as good a week as possible.  Love

Hi Angie and Lilly, Kate has been a little more active in terms of being out and about and each time I saw her I thought that she does look very thin. I wish her well and hope that she can put her cancer behind her very soon. Did you hear one spectator shouting we love you Kate?

Still warm but windy here. I think the weather is changing. I am finalising my Zambia safari trip and just hope it will happen. If I have my chemo on schedule this Wednesday then it is all systems go. Otherwise I will be devastated . 

Anyone hear from Lee since his operation?

When are you going for the horse trial show Angie? Princess of Wales is looking very thin but she has been so thin ever since she married. i think she must be under enormous pressure to look perfect all the time. She has the most luxurious hair though.

Good evening Stella, the horse trials are 21st to 24th of August at Scone Palace, Perthshire. It had slipped my mind that Blair Castle finished hosting the event last year. I have to  see how it goes, but it is always a great day or two out for equestrian fans. Finger crossed your chemo will be fine and you can enjoy your trip to Zambia. I am sure Winston will not be a happy cat if you go on holidays  . Lilly is sending her love to Winston xxx

I’m lucky to be in Greece - grabbing opportunities to travel whilst I can . The sea is so warm and clear , it feels amazing

Have a wonderful time Lucy. So good that you are able to travel. Greece is a great place to go to relax, enjoy the culture and their delicious food. Nice memories for the long cold winter nights. Hope everyone has a peaceful nights sleep. Going to try and get some rest myself now. Love to you all
