I no longer take food for granted after going through a phase last winter when I couldn't eat solid food and lost a lot of weight. Eat whatever takes your fancy and enjoy it! I do again now lol

Hi Lucy and Stella, my treatment not only gives you an expanding middle, but man boobs, or moobs, as we "like," to call them, and a complete loss of libido, happy days, seriously, there are more important things, than carrying a little extra weight.

I know what you meant patrick. I had an episode of blocked small bowel and it was not nice! We can’t take enjoying food for granted. Chemo makes my sense of taste goes slightly bitter but generally not too bad.
Eddie - we women are always under pressure to look slim. I should be grateful not loosing weight as that could be very bad news.
I have made Vietnamese beef Pho tonight and it was really delicious and will do that again. Craig said he would be happy to pay for that in a restaurant.
Lucy what did you had for dinner? X
Nothing as delicious as yours sounded Stella!
I had poached salmon and a green salad with added herbs, mange tout, toasted almonds and a light dressing . I make it regularly, it’s tasty . Followed by strawberries
So quite healthy tonight
Hi Lucy, if you want to lose a little weight, and it's safe to do so, then why not my friend, just please be careful and maybe get a little advice first.
Lesleys doing really well, thank you, she and the rest of the family who went to Greece, came home today, they're all looking well, and my aunties will be stopping with us for a few days, till after the wedding.

Hi Stella, woman should feel confident no matter what, men/society says, they should look like, and I agree with you on taking the enjoyment of food for granted, having dysphagia, it's likely I'll end up being fed through a tube.
We had a very traditional English dinner, homemade cottage pie and new potato's, and fruit crumble and ice cream, almost everything from the allotment
Never had Vietnamese beef pho, so Googled it, I'm sure we will have it soon, any tips on how to make it a little special?.
