Hi Eddie
I use BBC good food recipe on beef pho. It is really good. You may need to buy some spices to start with, but definitely worth it. Also the key is to pour boiling stock over the raw beef slices. It cooks the meat instantly and is really tender. I personally prefer beef fillet for this.
Your dinner from allotment plants sounds very nice. Quality ingredients are 80% of the game.
Have a lovely warm day x
That sounds very healthy and delicious. I am having quite a lot of cherries as they are in season and is my favourite fruits.
I have bought garlic shoots from a Chinese supermarket yesterday, so will stir fry that with pork tenderloin tonight.
For lunch I am going for nectarine salads , goat cheese on toasted baguettes.
Since my forced medical retirement, cooking different food became a bit of new hobby. Not good for the waistline
What is everyone’s having this weekend? BBQ in the sun?
xx
Morning Stella, and thank you, i will look at the BBC guide, and yes nothing beats fresh ingredients, and you must try steak capaccio salad, a healthy and yummy 10 minute dish
Eddie xx
Good morning Stella, hope you are feeling a bit better today. I am making a pot of mixed, sliced peppers in a tomato sauce with meatballs, served with rice.It is a dish from Hungary. Great for freezing some in too, so I always make a big pot. Hope Winston is behaving and is giving you loads of cuddles. Lilly got her 3 monthly tick, flee and worm treatment earlier so I am in the bad books for a few hours Have a good day everyone and good luck for results, treatment etc. love from
Angie and a very huffy Lilly xx

eddiel you can’t beat home grown new potatoes. At 91 my old pops still grows his own and sends some my way , just delicious
Hi everyone, Mrs Tvman and I arrived home yesterday very tired and annoyed at the time we spent in a&e. Mrs Tvman was there for 15 hours before she received any treatment. We arrived home at 11am and most of yesterday was living through a haze. We both had a reasonable night's sleep and today we feel as if both feet are now back on the planet.
Thanks for all the caring comments to those who replied, they're very much appreciated.
Tvman x
Hi Angie and Lilly
I am gradually improving but the body is not keeping up with the mind and it can be frustrating.
Winston does not like his medication drop either.
He is rather sleepy as it is quite warm for him. He likes to stay in the main bedroom as we have put in an air conditioning unit there.
Hope you and Lilly have a sunny and not too warm weekend xx
Hiya Eddie, hope you have had a lovely time this afternoon and you are not to exhausted tonight.
All my love and best wishes for Sarah and Husband in waiting for their special day tomorrow. You, Sheila and Lesley with the rest of the clan will no doubt have a grand day with lovely memories to cherish. Big hug to you all from
Angie and Lilly xxx
