Good morning all everyone,
Just setting up a new chat thread for June. If you would like to catch up on May's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for:
Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment.
Hi Eddie, thank you very much for your best wishes for my scan this afternoon. You really are a very special man.
I hope that both you and Lesley receive favourable results from your tests too.
I've not been on the forum recently as I have been too busy sorting out holidays.
We were all happy to go back to Cantabria but my 13 year old granddaughter protested as there is not much to do there for her. My 7 year old grandson will go anywhere as long as he has a football to play with.
So I suggested going on a Eurocamp holiday to France. Guess who is not happy?
Anyway, we are off to Houlgate in Normandy on Tuesday. We will travel to Portsmouth over two days then travel by ferry on Thursday to Caen. We will spend 12 nights there.
I won't receive my scan results for about 3/4 weeks so there was no point in me hanging around waiting for them.
Thank you once again.
Helen
Hi Stella, I meant to wish you good luck for your scan on Monday but I was very busy and forgot. I hope your results are good.
My turn this afternoon. I am already getting butterflies in my tummy.
John and I are off to France on Thursday, via two nights in England with our daughter and family.
I won't have my results for a while yet. There is a shortage of radiographers in our area.
I hope you and your mum have a lovely holiday.
Helen
Hi Helen, your welcome my friend, Lesleys results due on Tuesday, mine are 3-4 weeks aways
That's a wonderful reason for not posting, organising or being on holiday, and I'm sure everyone will enjoy France, I found boys much easier on holidays, happy to do their own thing from the 1st day, but often the girls could be a little faddy at first, but got into the spirit, then again,as they say you can't please everyone all the time, have a wonderful time, some of my family are in Greece, so just need some favourable results, so Lesley, a couple of grandkids and I can join them
Eddie xx
Hi Helen, I do hope your scan goes well and you can enjoy your holiday with your loved ones. What with Stella, Eddie, Kate and you all going on holiday, maybe we should set up a thread called Postcard Corner where everyone can post holiday pics. I can't get away right now as my wife is still working but October is just round the corner, right?
Patrick xx
