Good morning all everyone,
Just setting up a new chat thread for June. If you would like to catch up on May's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for:
Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment.
Hi Eddie
I'll be travelling by car and train to stay with my sister in Yorkshire at the end of June. It is for a big family celebration! She has 3 daughters. One is emigrating, with her husband and kids, to Australia. This may well be my last chance to see her for the foreseeable future.
Another daughter is getting married in August. The third is celebrating her birthday.
It should be an amazing garden party, if the weather behaves!
I don't have anything else planned at the moment. Just 'living in the present' !!
xxx Kate
Hi Puddock, there's a lot to look forward to there, and I'm sure the weather will be better, and hope the trips are all you could wish for, and you have a wonderful time, and will auntie Kate be a bridesmaid?,
my youngest daughter's wedding is only 18 days away, a very informal ceremony, with a reception at home, simple, which suits me , hopefully there's a trip to Glasgow for you too. Eddie xx
Good morning. Good luck with your appointments today Eddie. Enjoy working in your garden Kate. It is dull, windy and rainy here which in a way I'm glad because it gives me a good excuse not to work in the garden . I really need to but cant be bothered today, might go shopping instead. Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning Lee2, you go shopping my friend if that's what you want, and maybe the sun will come out and gardening will be a little more appealing, my appointment No1 cancelled as I was half way there llol, but not worth going home as next one's at the same place, so enough time for a cuppa and cake ,
Eddie xx
Hi Stella, that is a positive and pragmatic way of going about things, hope you find lovely clothes and stuff and have a good time away. The dahlias are pretty but don't worry about frost - maybe you'll prefer different flowers next year anyway and the next garden centre is never far away lol
