Good morning all everyone,
Just setting up a new chat thread for May. If you would like to catch up on April's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for:
Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment.
I had a rather exciting day yesterday. Driven to 5 different places. Some farm place for breakfast, then had a look at the woodland garden ‘place for plants’ near Dedham area. It was full of beautiful trees esp rhododendron and camellias. Very tranquil and would visit again in the autumn. Then off to a spa afternoon at Marquis hotel. Had the whole place to ourselves. All very posh and great service.
After that to the pub by the river and eventually finished with dinner at the great house in Lavenham. Excellent food but again we are the only customers.
Home at 9! Phew just resting today with a nice cup of tea. Xx
Just want to say a big thank you to everyone for the well wishes for my mum. Her appointment is this Friday. She didn’t want me to come in for this one as she seems to think it could still be OK.
I am going to go to the Chelsea flower show in the afternoon instead to keep myself busy and not let cancer dictate my time.
Sending love to your Mum Stella
She sounds like you - pragmatic and resilient!!!
Here’s a picture of a beautiful laburnum arch at the gardens we visited today
That is magnificent! I always wanted to visit the Bodnant garden in the Spring. I was booked to go but due to chemo delay it didn’t happen this year. My mum and I suppose to go to Lake Maggiore in June and visit the gardens there. Just hope her situation is not going to stop us.
Enjoy your time in Wales and post more photos! X
Thank you Patrick, it’s much appreciated. Had a few not so pleasant weeks, between loosing a friend and blood results not good. Slowly getting back to some sort of normality. Bloods have improved, so recommencing treatment on Friday . Hope you and Mrs Patrick are doing ok. Gute Nacht
love Angie and Lilly xxx
