How lovely to see all of the beautiful flowers. It has been sunny here today, but a strong cool breeze with it. Annette I always say the same, don’t cast a clout, til may is out, but my husband always looks at me oddly when I say it, he had never heard it when growing up.
Little Alfie went to his first puppy class today. He was the smallest pup there, and he was a bit nervous to start, but he’s a smart boy, and has learnt to sit and lay down already.
Hi Chelle, I noticed it's been quiet on the forum today, I hope everyone has been enjoying the lovely sunshine, thankfully no cool breeze here in the Scilly's, it does spoil many a good day.
And what a big day for little Alfie, I bet he was the star of he show, and being part Jack Russel, he'll be ahead in the intelligence stakes, and he made you proud, no doubt,
Well Chelle, being from Oban originally, I feel I must give the saying the accuracy it deserves, Ne'er cast a clout till May be oot, wonderful to know a few of the guys on the forum ftill use it.
Eddie xx
Hi Chelle, It was lovely here too but out of the sun we did have a cool breeze bit it wasn’t a strong breeze. I think Alfie will be the smartest in his class! Being young he will pick it up very quickly! Have you seen the programme “ Dogs Behaving Badly”? People have put up with ‘naughty’ dogs for years, then call in the dog trainer! Usually it is the owners who need trained! Where is your husband from?
Hi Eddie, If you look at page 2 here, you will see I did quote the saying correctly!
Love Annette x
I don’t know about Oban eddiel but it is said in my best Hampshire Hogg accent.
anndanv hubby is from Essex, he also never heard the term blowing a hoolie.
We do watch dogs behaving badly. I like Graham I’ve also read his book which is about his life and how he got into training. My favourite programme is the dog house though. Before we bought Alfie I suggested to hubby that we applied to the programme and get a rescue dog, but then a friend told us about Alfie and his brother’s and sisters.
Hi Chelle, I'm sure your Hampshire accent gives the saying a wonderful charm, and it's amazing how often your new furry friend finds you, I've had 5 in my adult life, no searching needed.

Morning Angie, and thank you, you've saved me from another hour of frustration, not being able to remember something, though another rest day for me, I thought it was my change of meds making me fatigued, but I was told yesterday I have anaemia, lovely, add it to my collection, my GP has been in touch with a local pharmacy for me to pick up some meds.
Lovely day though, the sun is shining and I'm with the twins, and family for a couple of days, have you any plans my friend, I'm sure her highness approves of the weather.
love Eddie xx
Good morning everyone. I have never heard of any of those sayings at all. Eddie I hope you are enjoying the twins. The hospital just phoned. The oncologist is going to phone me at 11.00. Immediately my stomach tenses up and I feel sick. Probably just a routine phone call but I feel scared.

Glad to be of assistance my friend my Ex used to say that all lot. Sorry to hear you got anaemia. I was told it can be a side effect to treatment. Sure the twins are a lot of fun. Enjoy your stay with your loved ones. I am planning a quiet day today. Her Highness had her breakfast and has gone back to sleep. She is always a bit tired for a couple of days after her spot on treatment. Virtual hug to you all
