Morning all, there will be no new chat thread for April....

Haha, April Fools, here is the new chat thread for April!

If you want to catch up on March's chat you can click here but it will be closed for replies.

The chit chat thread is for:

"Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!

Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.

If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment."

  • Lovely Day, and spent all day in garden, sane as yesterday.

Though enough s enough now, shattered, but pleased I have done some, rest, on Thursday some shrubs need cutting, no rest for the wicked, though nice to get out in the fresh air.

    Oncologist tomorrow.

Hope every one is  enjoying the weather, while its here, in door work can wait, till the rain comes back.

Hope this finds every on as well as they can be.

  • Thought you would not be too keen on my suggestion about housework GrinningGrinning. Got it all done, hooray to that. The Vet bills are getting a bit more expensive too. 45 pounds for Lilly’s treatment. Thank goodness it’s only every 3 months but I don’t grudge money I spent on her  well-being. She has been amazingly healthy and only needed the Vet once, when the neighbour’s horrible cat bit her ear. Long may it continue. Eddie calls Lilly Her Majesty Grinning
It has been a glorious day here and supposed to be the same tomorrow and Thursday. Your egg custard tart sounds yummy. Maybe we should get a post going to exchange recipes so people like myself, who hates cooking, can get inspired. Enjoy your Tart and have a cosy evening

  • Hi

It is another sunny day here. Did lots of laundry and got Winston back from my parents house. W is not too impressed with the whole situation and after surveying the house, went upstairs in a huff.
I have got some tulips come through. Initially it is white but as time goes on it changes to pink! See pic below it shows 3 tulips at different stages of opening. Very interesting!

  • Good evening Stella, Craig and of course Winston. Looks like both of our furry loved ones are having an of day. Sure he is just letting you know he is not happy that you left him. By the sound of it you enjoyed your trip away. Your tulips are lovely. Lilly has been sniffing my flowers all evening. Love to everyone

  • Good luck for your Oncologist meeting tomorrow. Wishing you all good luck for your results etc.

  • Hi Stella welcome home, and Angie, love the flowers, sadly a cottage full of women and not even a daffodil here, though the last time I was on my allotment I took a picture of one of the plum trees, sorry you can't see, but there were dozens of bee's on it

  • Wish you all the best for your oncology appointment.

  • Hi Fleabane, The saying is “ Ne’er cast a cloot, ‘til May is oot!” We had frost just the other night but yesterday was beautiful sunshine. It was our youngest grandchild’s 10th birthday & we went for a meal. The sunset was amazing! Sorry you have to wait longer for results. We all get used to waiting but don’t have to like it!

Yes Angie it happens a lot in April in like a lamb & out like a lion here doesn’t it? You put your feet up, the ironing will still be there when it rains!
