Hi Patrick, I hope so as well.
I have just got of phone to PALS.
Should be my last injection tomorrow for eye, then letter says wait two months to see doctor.
Had the booking appointments on phone telling me if not had cataract operation, by 6th June taken of list, work that one out.
Hope your results coming up are really positive, then you can enjoy the weekend coming up.
Have May booked up, mri brain 3 may, bloods 9th may, oncologist 28th and to have a Ct in May, and i wonder at times i am shattered.
Hi Stella, dinner was lovely, our first one in over a month, so 16 turned up, fab.
Our hospital changed the disabled parking rules a couple of months ago, you had to go to an office in the hospital, 4 times further away than the department I was visiting, I paid the first fine, but refused to pay the second, now you just have to register once and you can park as normal, I never got my money back .

Hi Eddie & Stella, That is shocking they have issued fines when you have a Blue Badge. There is a different set up in Scotland from down south. We are even allowed to park on double yellow lines, as long as you are not blocking anyone else in etc. The parking at hospitals is horrendous. I had an appointment yesterday and parked in the “Dropping Off Zone”. We don’t use the clock system you have but are issued with one in case we are visiting. We have no time limit here for parking with a Blue Badge. I wonder why it is so different. Anyone any ideas?

Hi Ellie, How ridiculous is that! On one hand telling you 2 months is required after the last injection and then sending you a letter to say you have to have it done by 6th May! Can’t they count 8 weeks!?
I do wish one department would communicate with other departments when necessary! I do hope you let them know when you go for your injection today and show them the letter and let them deal with it. Poor you, if it’s not one thing it is another! You just keep on keeping on! While wearing your BGP!

I feel really annoyed for you about the blue badge situation. I was warned when I got mine by a friend that there are often different rues for private parking spaces but this is the first time I have heard of a train station fining someone! That is terrible. They want us to use the train and there are so many things making it hard for us. If there were no signs around then you are right to appeal bc that is just plain wrong.
I was sent a news article recently about a young woman who was shouted at for asking for a seat on a busy train because she had mobility issues. It's picking on the vulnerable again.
hope you get justice for this one
x Thea
Hi
I have appealed and see how it goes.
I also now applied a blue badge permit with the train station parking website, but I can only select one station. So on many days when there is engineering work and I have to travel to a different station, I will be fined again! What a ridiculous situation?! The train station car park is now all automated with number plate recognition. So if your car is not registered with that particular station, you will be fined.
