Morning all, there will be no new chat thread for April....
Haha, April Fools, here is the new chat thread for April!
If you want to catch up on March's chat you can click here but it will be closed for replies.
The chit chat thread is for:
"Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment."
Hi
I am supposed to have my chemo today but the neutrophil level is too low so will have it next Wednesday instead. The good news is I am now can enjoy my lunch with friends this Friday. The bad news is I have spa day booked and that has to be cancelled due to the shift. I suppose one has to be more flexible with this cancer stuff. I seem to really prone to treatment delays which does not worry me too much. It is more the disruption of my social calendar and holiday plans that irritates me .
If this delay happens again, I have to rearrange my June and July holiday which would be a major pain.
Went to M&S food hall and bought lots of random stuff. Lots of money spent but still nothing for dinner
Have a lovely day everyone x
Yes Stella...this disruption can be very annoying at times. So many things that have to be cancelled or rearranged...last minute changes can be expensive if flights and things need to be cancelled
However, meeting up with friends on Fruday will be lovely and the spa can wait
I hope ur holiday plans work out. We are away soon but I have looked up local cancer units in my holiday area in case I am on treatment or need advice. Worse case scenario is we come home as it's in Britain.
Hugs sweetpea
I love the attitude Stella, you carry on just the way you are.
Patrick xx
