Morning all, Just setting up a new chat thread for March. If you want to catch up on February's chat you can click here but it will be closed.
The chit chat thread is for:
"Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment."
Good Day
Lovely to see everyone’s interests and hobbies. I am definitely not artsy nor have much patience. I love flower arrangements and just fresh flowers in general. It cheers me up.
I also do adult colouring booked in your guessed it- Kew Gardens botanical books. They are replica of their botanical art collection. So it is more about replica the art rather than free lance it. Which I prefer as I am not very imaginative.
Otherwise I love spending time with my fur baby Winston, and cooking and eating good food.
Oh Eddie, such good news about your house. Have a wonderful time with Sheila. I hade a short but lovely weekend with my daughters and 3 of my grandsons. Sadly, due to work commitments, Christine had to fly back to London early evening today. She will be back in a few weeks for a long weekend. Hugs to you all from

Hi Stella, how are you, Craig and his nibbs, Winston, doing, I hope things are ok, and many would see cooking and flower arranging as an art form, and your very good at them, I hope you've had a lovely day in the sunshine.

Good evening Ian, how lovely that you are joining us. We all have to thank Ellie for starting it in the first place. It is hard to find the right words to describe the comfort, laughs and welcomed advice I got from this group. Sadly I am not very good at most crafts. Sport, especially equestrian was my love and passion and I am trying ever so hard to have a few more trails in me, but at present not possible. I used to cross stitch for relaxation and am a bookworm. Reading is my second greatest hobby. At present I am trying to learn sign language to try and keep my brain active. One of my friends partner is deaf, so we are trying to learn so he does not feel left out and we will acquire a new skill (hopefully). I saw that our local Collage is running some courses so must look into that. Love to everyone and virtual hugs all round
Good evening Stella, Lilly is sending Winston a purr and a big hello. I admire people who get excited about cooking. To be honest I can’t stand it and am glad that it’s only myself nowadays I have to cook for. My daughter (the one who lives near by) is a marvellous cook and she often comes with meals I freeze in and use if and when required. She loves doing it and I enjoy eating it so win - win situation. Her 3 boys have been fed freshly cooked meals from the day they started eating solids. Hats off to her for doing it. Of course it is purely a personal choice at the end of the day there is no right or wrong. I do an ok Pasta Bake. Well it did not poison Eddie at his last trip up here, so that’s a positive
. Have a peaceful evening with Craig and Winston.

Hi Ian, Glad you wanted to chat. Bee keeping must be really nteresting as well as being left with a superb result of delicious honey. I love honey but I’m not as keen on hearing the BZZZZ when there are bees around. Hope you’ve never been stung! Anyway, a warm welcome!
