Morning all, Just setting up a new chat thread for March. If you want to catch up on February's chat you can click here but it will be closed.
The chit chat thread is for:
"Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment."
Good evening Fleabane and welcome to the chat. You do live in a lovely part of the Country. My Cat Lilly and I bide in the North East of Scotland between Inverness and Aberdeen. Surrounded by Distilleries and lovely scenery. Not a bad spot to be. I hope this group will give you as much support, encouragement and of course laughter and developing friendships as I found.
love from Angie and Lilly xx
Sorry to hear regarding your son, even cooking is a struggle though will not give in.
One eye nothing can do for that, lost half the sight due to a brain op, and sight will not come back.
Other eye covered in a cataract and also have macular denegation in it, so having injections in eye then cataract can be done, never rains but it pour lol
Hi again Fleabane, glad you found your way here. All you have to do now is find the Hobby & Craft Corner and you can put photos on there too! You seem to be mastering the site very quickly, fantastic.
Angie (Alana) I hope you collect your car today and all goes smoothly! Things have changed a lot since you got your Corsal, new cars now beep and make noises at the least wee thing! You will soon see. Enjoy it.
Ellie, How many more njections do you need to have before they can do the cataracts? It has been a long haul for you so far and you are just Amazing. Hope you enjoyed your son’s visit, did he get your list of “things to do” all done? lol!
Love Annette x
Gilpat sorry the treatment isn’t going smoothly for you, I hope the steroids help with the next round.
ellie 73 I know how frustrating the fatigue must be for you, but good to hear that seems to be the only side effect. I do hope you get your eye sorted soon, every time you mention an injection in your eye I cringe! I cannot imagine having to have that done.
Fleabane a very warm welcome to the group. I love the t shirt. It reminds me of during covid when I had a t shirt that said, it’s not covid, it’s the other C, you know the big one!
We picked our puppy up on Friday, and I am so sleep deprived I am not sure what day of the week it is! Hope to catch up with everyone soon.
Good morning everyone, I am sorry about your treatments Patrick, hopefully next one will be better with the steroids, Ellie I hope your eye is sorted soon and the injections I just cant imagine how painful they sound. Angie hope you enjoy your new car, what did you get, I just got a Volvo XC40, heated seats yay. Ian how are your bees doing, have they woken up for Summer yet? Chris hope you are still enjoying your book. Stella are you back from your hols yet? What puppy did you get Chelle? Eddie are you back on Scilly Isles yet? I hope everyone has a good day.
Lee 2 x
Thanks for the good wishes Chelle, I'm sure the puppy will settle down. Enjoy!
