Morning all, Just setting up a new chat thread for March. If you want to catch up on February's chat you can click here but it will be closed.
The chit chat thread is for:
"Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment."
Goodness me Ellie, hope you did not do yourself any damage. I have been trying to get some sort of order in my garden today but had to give in after about 30 mins. This darn fatigue is just not waing to shift at any speed. It is so frustrating to see what needs done and just have to leave it be for the time being. I love to be outside and just cross everything that my stamina will improve shortly. My Son and I are going to see Nathan Carter on the 27th in Aberdeen. Something nice to look forward too. Still waiting for my new car to arrive. Should have been here by the end of February. Good things come to those who wait so I was told. Not much comfort that
to be honest. Look after yourself and a virtual hug to everyone from
Angie and Lilly xx
Nice to see you posting Ulls and good to hear you are stable, long may it last x
Good evening
I had a nice breakfast with a friend and bought some fresh flowers for myself. Another warm and sunny day here.
Winston has been acting a bit strange and looked worried a lot which is not like him. Then he just peed on my sofa! I think he is upset by the neighbourhood cat and needs surrounding himself with his smell. So lots of cursing and cleaning this afternoon.
Ellie- hope your back is not too bad. The stairs can be very dangerous.
Ulls glad to hear you are stable and doing well.
Alana what is your new car like? I used to change my car quite frequently but not since COVID time. Just don’t drive much nowadays as do not need to go to work anymore. I want to drive an electric car and see what is like. Maybe I will rent one on holiday.
Patrick any holiday plans for yourself?
Have a nice weekend xx
Hi Stella, glad you are enjoying things, even if some of them are not enviable, I've got to settle in with this immunotherapy and once it becomes routine we'll see. Don't feel the need to fly around all over the place nowadays, somewhere on the coast maybe. Have a great weekend and a hello to Winston.
Patrick xx
Yes been a lovely day here, though going to change here, next week, so they say.
I book hospital transport, when go to big hospital in London. Driver picked me up, same one brought me home two hour drive.
Then talking about cars and yes he was driving one, it was such a smooth, quiet drive, like we was gliding along.
In quiet a bit of aggravation today, so did not eve try doing any gardening, was a struggle to walk, hopefully bit easier tomorrow.
My son has just gone, so a good catch up, hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend.
Good afternoon Stella and Winston. Hope your Winston has settled down a bit more again. The poor love, has he been attacked by your neighbours cat. Lilly is always very nervously looking around in case our neighbours bully cat is around. She is a bit easier when I stand at the kitchen door or a bit outside. She must think I am her bodyguard, which is actually true come to think of it. He is huge and a real nasty piece of work. None of my few neighbours here have any time for him, as he goes for their cats too. One ended up at the vets with a torn ear. So love the neighbour is not practiced with his owner around here.
My new car (if it ever arrives) is a Peugeot 2008 Allure, 1.2 Automatic 5 door. My beloved old Corsa is going to be 18 years next month and is giving me too much trouble now. I still rely on a car since we don’t have any public transportation where I am. Glad I can still drive, but won’t drive long distances as Eddie is still doing. My Hospital is only about 30 minutes from here and easy to get there and my GP and Chemist just in the Village 5 minutes down the road. Hope you, Craig and your furry companion have a good evening without any more shocks for Winston. Hugs as usual to all who would like one from

Hey,
I've been busy with a visit from my cousin and his wife, haven't managed to get energy levels back to normal as it was completely exhausting coming so close after the London trip. Seen first bees here (P9 bees would love a thread) and frogs are very active in the community garden pond! Love seeing both out and about again!
Also been sorting and tidying including building bookcases from flat pack which Tiki 'helped' with.
Stella2020 Hope Winston is feeling more secure. I had to put bird spikes on the window one year to stop the seagulls bullying Tiki.
ellie 73 hope your feeling more comfortable, stairs are tricksy things.
Hope everyone's at their best
Lex - xx
