Morning all, Just setting up a new chat thread for March. If you want to catch up on February's chat you can click here but it will be closed.
The chit chat thread is for:
"Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment."
Delicious hobby Ian, we buy our honey from the local bee keeper on the allotment, glass costs 5 Euros here, I've seen how it's made, no additives, no nothing. Go to the supermarket it's honey from non-EU and EU countries at 8 Euros and quality is crap. Keep up the good work
Patrick xx
Thank you Patrick, It’s great when people appreciate what real honey is use beekeepers do spend a lot of time trying to explain to people. you are so right about supermarket honey. Honey fraud is a big problem in the UK and EU we have lots of rules we have to follow which those outside don’t. Most of the non EU comes from China and is just sugar and water mixed with a bit of real honey.

Ellie. They really are fascinating creatures far more intelligent than we know.
At the moment inside the hive everything will be gone into overdrive with the bee getting ready for the spring/summer months.
The best thing I can do for them is to leave them alone and just make sure they have enough food to get them there. In the next few weeks I will have to start weekly inspections. So if people are interested I’ll start a new thread with weekly updates maybe start a new hive call it The Incurable hive and have our own virtual hive.

So this morning I received a call from what I thought was the hospital.
The conversation went something like this.
Hello Ian,we have got the results in about your head. As I have metastatic lesions on the base of my skull I thought they had found something on one of my scans.
Unfortunately yours is an old model and no longer available however we can replace it with a newer model for £110.
It was at this point I realised I was talking to the vacuum repair man who I had dropped my vac off with last week
True story
