Hi Lee, as Ulls has said bisphosphonates are different to Denosumab but work in a similar way, slowing down the cells which naturally break down bone cells so allowing the cells that build new bone cells to work much more effectively some people don't tolerate bisphosphonates, so have Denosumab instead, Denosumab is usually an injection every 6 months, bisphosphonates are either, pill, injection or IV, and Adcal. Is a vitamin suppliment, which can be taken alongside the others.
