Lovely morning chit-chat thread - February 2025

It is wonderful you are helping your friend at such a difficult time. I was talking to the people at the hospice as I feel I maybe a bit selfish to take a space there. But they said I am being there is giving back and helping others settle in. 
Any how things my new wig!

Stella you look so lovely and natural. No bad hair days with wigs as you have. I am blonde but always wanted dark hair. Sadly I don’t have the complexion to have mine coloured into an amazing dark shade. Dry but cold here today and another frosty night ahead. Log burner going and just settled with a coffee to watch the ski world championships I recorded earlier. a lovely rest of the day to you all on g th his forum

You look wonderful, Stella, I would never know it wasn't your own hair, and don't feel like that at the hospice, if you didn't qualify to be there, you wouldn't be accepted and well done helping the others there, I find it so rewarding, and aren't they all amazing people and a lovely place to be.

We're on our way to Shropshire,2 daughters, their mum and I, to see the youngest members of he family and mum and dad for the weekend, what are you up to my friend.

Good morning all,  hope everyone is well.  Stella wig looks great and so natural.  Can I ask a stupid question.  What is a bisphosphonate, I though the Adcal was this but some people are talking about having infusions.  Is Denosumab a bisphosphonate?  I am really confused, can someone explain.  I am new to all of this.  Sorry to sound so silly.

I think Bisphosphonates are used to treat bone related problems caused by osteoporosis and some cancers.

It's one of those gray nothing days, no rain, sun or wind, just gray, roll on spring.

Surveyor coming on monday to draw up plan's to change bathroom into a wet room, takes about 5 day's to do the work, we need a porta potty.
