Thanks, just the wait now, not long.
I will be glad to know tomorrow is MONDAY lost track of days.
Just had phone call, youngers son is coming down Tuesday, for a few days.
Will be nice, only seen him once since my op, lives 3/4 hours away.
Hope you have had a pleasant weekend, apart from the weather.
Good morning everyone
I went to London and had lovely Thai food with friends and that was lovely. However, I did feel a slight envy when people talk about long term plans and holidays. When they asked about me , I can only say it depends.
Today I am going to meet up with my old work colleagues for lunch and catch up. Also the Christmas decorations need to be packed away.
Eddie didn’t realise you have already driven your aunt and partner back to Scotland. That must be quite a long trip again. Non- identical twins? That is so cool !
Simon how is your chest now? Axle looks very adorable.
Alana hope you are feeling OK after the injection/ chemo pill.
Sharon , Ellie and everyone hope you are all have a good day x
Hi Eddie of course you can ask me anything as we are all in similar little boats bobbing around with treatments and daily life. My treatment seemed to be very intense initially with at least weekly or twice weekly hospital visits. I was scanned after 2 cycles and tumour reduced by 50% , felt ecstatic! Just before cycle 5 I had a portacath fitted. Had a scan just before Christmas and tumour resembles scar tissue and all lymph nodes responding positively. I know I am incurable but treatable so feeling blessed with response so far. Only side effects are fatigue, I did have horrible nausea but when I stopped the anti sickness medication it was better. So far I don’t know exactly how the trial drug is working but I will try and find out on my next visit ( 14th Jan). Healthy mum and babies is the only thing that matters and I’m sure you will get so much pleasure from them. Sorry for the long post. Enjoy your day and stay positive

Morning Stella, glad you had a nice time with your friends enjoying nice food and no washing up to do! I am sure that we all empathize when the chat turns to the future, however I just tell them what my long term plans are because I don’t want to think about not having a future if that makes sense. I am meeting up with old work friends on Thursday and looking forward to it. Crisp and sunny here to day might do some housework! Enjoy your day and stay positive
