  • Hi Annette

My husband had exactly the same reaction as you when he had his jags recently. Personally, I wouldn't have both together....asking for trouble! It's a lot to bombard your immune system with.

Sorry you've missed out on so much you had planned. Hopefully someone may have videod the carol concert! It can be so frustrating when your plans go awry.

Hope you are feeling better now, and can re-organise some of the things you've missed.

    xxx Kate

  • Hope you're feeling OK Eddie!

  • Afternoon All

Internet been down since this morning.

Gas  man been in to service boiler, another job done with, working better than me.

Out later for a meal DIL Birthday, will be nice, at least i do not have to cook or wash up, bonus.

Hope everyone is well and making the most of the day, the vest they can.

  • I've had some good news in the post today. I've finally got an appointment for my bone density scan, in January. I've been waiting for ages!

Enjoy your meal, and being waited on Ellie!

    xxx Kate

  • Glad you have got a  date, i had a couple of them, when i had fractures, good luck with the out come.

  • Well i knew i was going out for a meal.

My son came in early and what a surprise, my granddaughter was with him, I did not know she was in England, she went to Australia over a year ago, here to Sunday then to Dublin to see her mum, she has a wonderful life, oh to be young and the world is your oyster.

  • Good evening all

Hope you are feeling better Annett. I was aching all over for a couple of days after my vaccination too. I always take paracetamols before I have any vaccines as advised by doctors.

How are you feeling Eddie? Sorry you have to start taking the pill again. Such horrid things but it keeps us alive…

Alana and Lee, hope you are both improving. Rest up.

Ellie and Candymum - glad you both got appointments coming through eventually.

I am having a quiet day. My mum came to visit and is making delicious dinner for me.

I had a chat with the hospice nurse. It is still a bit of shock to discuss advanced death planning. Still feel unreal as I had not experienced any pain/ problems directly with cancer. I can’t quite get my head around it. Craig looked tearful as he overheard the conversation. The hospice is going to put together a 8 weekly program for me in the New Year. I think it will help me to accept the situation and getting on with living well.

I am considering going to London next Monday and stay overnight. The risk of catching something could be high, but I can’t just sit at home when feeling ok. What does everyone think ?

  • I think while you can, you go for it, to get   a way , from every thing, hospital related.

Just take care, wear  Mask if you wish and try and stay away, from crowds, and close encounters of any situation.

    Just Enjoy.

  • Hi Puddock, I'm ok, another poor nights sleep, but nothing like the bad old days, and I had my 1st hot flush today, I've been discharged from SALT, had a massage, Xmas dinner with friends, and a craft group, resting now as off to Fort William tomorrow. How are you doing, fab news about your bone scan,

    love Eddie xx

  • Awww Ellie, what a wonderful surprise, It's about time you had some good luck,

    Eddie xx
