Lovely morning chit-chat thread October 2024

Hi All, It sounds like you will all have been asleep for a while now and I am still trying to fall asleep. Up early to take Vince to hospital as he has to be there for 8am, he is having a Colonoscopy. Poor thing had to drink the horrible stuff last night and only could have water apart from that. I think the prep for it can be worse than the scope sometimes. He is feeling very sorry for himself, so he has had lots of cuddles, in between toilet visits!

Hope everyone has a good day. By the way, I tried twice earlier, at teatime and then about 9pm and couldn’t get signed in but I was thinking about you all! 
Can you believe Friday is 1st Nov!!! Roll on 21st Dec, I too hate the da4k nights!

Morning Annette,  a couple of us have had problems getting on the forum today, all is good now,  poor Vince, Colonoscopys are not nice especially the prep, I will have everything crossed for good news, give him a cuddle for me, I hope your feeling a little better and your leg is improving too, the year has whizzed past again, soon be a new one before you know it,

Good morning, I could never understand why people want to have their new carpets put down just before Christmas. Why not wait until the New Year, less chance of having Brussels or Gravy etc. liberally trampled in it if an accident should occur.

Morning Annette, good wishes for your Husband for his procedure. Very windy here today again, but dry so far. I am struggling to find anything I fancy for lunch. My heart is saying hot chocolate and cake but my jeans are saying “for the love of god woman, eat a salad  xx have as good a day as you can

Hi Angie, cake today, salad tomorrow, If you have salad you usually end up having cake anyway, especially with the long dark evenings with little to do, PS no carpets in my house, there not good for your health," I know I'm not a good example", just a few rugs, baked potato for my lunch, with salad,
