New month, new thread - as requested by ellie 73
Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment.
Hope this is to everyone's approval.
Thanks.
Ellie as many as 20% of cancer patients will develop blood clots, many of us get what's called sticky blood where the cancer stimulates the liver to produce too much clotting factors, which are a protein, which combine with platelets, which are the blood cells that make your blood clot to seal wounds. the excess clotting factors made by the liver then float around the circulatory system, usually harmlessly though if they build up in sufficient numbers can cause clots.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
