Hi all,
Just finished a long 4 month battle with my pension providers to cash out my plans due to having incurable/terminal cancer.
Still got mortgage and bills to pay and don't qualify for any benefits so need the money to live a bit whilst still here.
You would think as it's a standard procedure it would be easy but it's been a nightmare I have several pots of pensions ( moved around a lot) but most provided by two of the big providers.
I had 4 plans with one provider and they all wanted individual forms filled out and completed by the hospital my oncologist was geat but they they wanted verbal proof x4 the Dr had completed it and getting hold of a busy Dr in hospital not easy.
Just wanted to put that out there anyone had good bad experiences of it?
Disclaimer Standard Life amazing one phone call one page filled in by GP and money in bank within 2 weeks .
Have a good day out there ( going for a suntan as cold to the bone here )
Well marriage is just a piece of paper, a proper marriage is when you stay with eachother throughout life's trials, and it sounds to me you are well suited, so married in life if not on paper.
Sheila will be excited with all the planing and looking forward to being the star of the event, are you going to carry here across the threshold?
If i tried to carry Sheila over the threshold the honeymoon would have to be in hospital, that's due to my bad back No idea where the planning is at, service is either local, Australia or both, though personally i would like a local service so everyone can attend, then off to Aus straight after, Whatever Sheila decides will ce fine by me.
Eddie
Hi Ulls I think you mean equality which I agree with but I am old school and think it's nice to pay for the lady. I met a woman at the cancer centre and took her for a nice meal and went to a shop with her and I stood outside and she just left me there lol . I was shocked at first that someone could do that but she did say she was on mood tablets so put it down to that
Hi Minax, because I have rheumatoid arthritis in my hands and wrists I use Google assistant to type out my messages sometimes the spelling isn't all that accurate but I can't be bothered to change it..... I don't think it was mood tablet she's on I think it was rude tablets instead.
