New month, new thread.
Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment.
Hope this is to everyone's approval.
Thanks.
Hi Ellie & Ulls, Yes I think we are very patient, because we have to be! Every time there is an Update which is meant to improve things and make them easier, the opposite happens!
Ulls, you are spot on, most companies do Trial Runs (for a week or two) pwhen adding updates, so they can sort out any mistakes BEFORE going live and implementing them. I just can't understand why they can't do that here!
Has anyone heard the phrase " If it isn't broken, why try to fix it".
Love Annette x
Hi Chelle, Thank you for trying to help. It must be as frustrating for you as it is for us! I read your advise about pressing the highlighted bit. Unfortunately I didn't know when to press this, ie. Before pressing Reply or after that! So I pressed before, then the page disappeared all together together with my post! It went to a page telling me "where I could get support during the Festive Season" maybe you could ask the techs if they could Update what needs to be updated, like the Community News etc before trying to Update other things!
We know you are in a "pig in the middle".place but we know none of this is your doing!
Love Annette x
I am sorry anndanv I seem to have made it worse for you. I should of said you press it after you have replied, as this refreshes the page. It is very frustrating for everyone, as this is effecting the whole site, but we can do nothing but wait until this is sorted x
Thank you chellesimo for offering support. I just wanted to join the discussion to ask that all feedback about the site be directed to the Online Community team so we can keep track of the technical issues. You are welcome to message Moderator - Macmillan Community or email community@macmillan.org.uk.
We are very sorry that the recent changes have caused some technical issues. We have reported these to our developers and we are waiting for an update.
Even with testing, some of the issues cannot be predicted and we will do everything we can to fix them and help you use the site. Below are some suggestions which may help in the meantime:
Please do get in touch with us if you are experiencing any issues and we would be grateful if you can share any screenshots or additional information with us as it will help our investigations.
Again I am so sorry that there are these technical issues at the moment but we hope it won't be long before we have them resolved.
